Aaron McLaughlin

Aaron McLaughlin grew up in Northern Virginia and was a multi-sport athlete through high school and later played football in college for George Mason University’s club team.  After he was finished playing team sports, Aaron took an interest in the martial arts and combat sports and has been continuously training in multiple disciplines ever since. 

He has a 2nd Dan Black Belt from the World Taekwondo Federation and has experience training in Western boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Boxing, Filipino martial arts and weapons systems and self-defense. 

Blaine Dulin

Blaine Dulin is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer with specialties in performance enhancement and corrective exercise. Blaine went to Virginia Tech University where he ran cross country and rowed crew. With 15 years of experience, he has worked with soccer groups including Brit-Am, Churchill High School and Sandy Spring Friends School as well as the George Mason University swim team, serving as a strength and conditioning coach. 

In addition to helping clients out with strength, mobility, fitness and weight loss goals Blaine has worked with several power lifters who have set state, national and multiple world records in competitions.

While training clients from age 8 to 80 he has been able to work with clients of all ability levels to achieve more than they ever thought possible. 

Carlos Baeza

Carlos Baeza brings over 20 years of experience in the fitness and health industry to his personal training clients. His certifications include Certified Personal Trainer with American Council and Exercise, as well as Sports Performance Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Carlos’ biggest passion is to help people create a healthy and balanced lifestyle through educating his clients on the importance of nutrition and a good exercise regimen. As a former semi-pro soccer player and coach, Carlos enjoys working with athletes, but also enjoys working with men and women of all ages and fitness abilities. His many years of experience allows him to personalize his clients’ training programs to their unique capabilities and goals. 

Derek Burns

Derek Burns is a Gulf War and operation Deliberate Force Navy Veteran who has been an athlete all of his life. Derek began his personal training career 14 years ago, sharing his love for personal growth that encompasses area of the physical, mental and spiritual with thousands of clients. He started his own company “AfterBurns Sports and Performance” eleven years ago and has been transforming the lives of many ever since.

Derek is BioSignature practitioner, PICP Level 1 Coach, Nutrition coach and Transformation Specialist. He was also a competitive body builder for 5 years and has been helping coach and prepare many competitive body builders, male and female. Living life by the mantra “Solid. Soulful. Substance. Strength”, he centers not only his life around God but focuses on a holistic approach when working with clients. Helping them to not only look better on the outside but feel better on the inside. He believes that the client is like art and he is the artist. “A coaches work is shown in and through his clients results”, says Coach Burns.

He has been featured and written articles for three publication Thrive Magazine, Huffington Post and Northern Virginia Magazine. Derek has also been a guest trainer and guest speaker for events such as Jack N Jill of Loudon County Health Fair, Delta Sigma Theta Fairfax Chapter Health Fair, Word of Life Church Health and Fitness and Sponsored Many Fitness and Cooking Demos in the Northern Virginia Area. Giving his clients what they want but showing them what they need, because ultimately “RESULTS DRIVE MOTIVATION’

 

Peggy Reno

Peggy Reno is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach with a lifelong passion for sports and fitness. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Precision Nutrition, two of the most respected education programs in the fitness industry.

As a working mom, she understands the challenges of attaining the balance of work/family/healthy lifestyle and knows what it takes to achieve strength and fitness goals despite life’s everyday demands. Peggy specializes in functional strength training for all ages and fitness levels. Her challenging strength and metabolic workouts emphasize core strength, proper form, posture, balance, joint stability and mobility all while helping clients’ achieve their strength and fitness goals. She is a huge advocate of clean eating and provides nutritional guidance to help clients transform their bodies. Her priority is her clients’ fitness goals and nothing gives her greater pleasure than seeing clients attain them!
